Busy Fall Season is Here: Senior portraits, family sessions, weddings, babies- I'm a busy gal!
October is a very blessed but rough month for photographers. It is certainly the busiest time of the year, hands down, and as it comes to a close, I feel thankful for being able to capture memories for so many families the past few weeks. October is when all the seasons collide - the last minute “green” summer sessions, the color-filled fall ones, and the start of Christmas and holiday sessions. The month of November is all about catch up - catching up with all the editing that comes from all the fall sessions and holiday sessions! It keeps me just about as busy.
This year I tried something new and did Christmas minis BEFORE fall sessions….I know it seems a little backwards. But after a few years in a row of unbearably cold temperatures, the switch seemed necessary. And everyone that participated and has done both was super thankful. So while I know we don’t want to think about the holidays quite yet in October, if you missed them this year, know they will be happening again next year at this time, so make a mental note.
Here’s just a few of the sessions I’ve had the past month. My heart is full and happy when I see all these warm, colorful backgrounds. I’m definitely a fall girl. I could add about 50 other faces to this post, but I’ve got to get to that editing yet! So a big thanks to each and every one of you who participated in sessions over the past few weeks.
