Ready for a Special Insider Peek into some of the things coming your way in 2024?

While I’m not going to reveal all of the special things I have planned for this season, I will give y’all a peek into a few of the limited edition sessions coming your way this year, as well as a few changes I’m making to the yearly staples.

Unicorn Sessions

Sessions this year will be limited to fewer dates. I normally do a themed session option with her outside of the regular pastel rainbow sessions (tea party, sunflower, Christmas), and do plan to have a new option this season.

Creek Sessions

Our most popular session every year….of course they’ll be back! Mark your calendars off now - sessions will be SEPTEMBER 7 this year.

I’ll also be bringing back “Fishing Derby” sessions this summer, one day only, TBA….Complete with creekside Bait Shoppe, “fishing” in the creek, and of course splashing. No worms were harmed in the making of this image, lol.

Seasonal Sessions (Spring/Easter & Christmas)

Coming up first….Spring. I finally looked it up….Pixel is TEN this year. She may be elderly, but she’s still doing well. She plans to be at sessions again, and looks forward to sitting in my new flower market basket, and riding in the back of the new tricycle. There will be two sets to choose from (as always). Easter is early this year, so sessions are tentatively marked for March 9th.

Spring Sidenote: if all works out, I have spring bulbs planted in the woods at my house. The deer ate my wildflower seeds last year, but I’m told they won’t touch daffodils. So I mixed tulips and daffoldils…we’ll see what happens. Last year they start blooming around 20th, and they only last about a week. Bookings for them will be super last minute, but open weekdays all week when they do. I live south of Canton for reference as to where they will be.

Hopefully the weather cooperates and I can also get sessions in at OARDC in the blooming trees. It didn’t happen this past year, and I was super bummed as those are a personal favorite. These will be around the weekend of April 20th-27th depending on actual bloom date and weather cooperation.

Christmas this year, I heard you loud and clear…. I will bring back an outdoor option and it will have a “country theme” with everyone’s favorite mini (or at least mine), Tommy. Those are the two requests I heard, so I already have a session in mind to accommodate. I’m considering a second super mini session option, also involving another favorite little horse of mine. They will be sometime early October so we can hopefully still do them in good weather, so make a note on your calendar now. I know it is weird to do them before fall sessions, but in Ohio, that is how it has to be to try and avoid the cold and wind that makes for extremely uncooperative kids. I also have a stack of way too many backdrops to pick from for the other set options. Some potential options for all are shown below.

Other Minis

I have plans in the works for Harry Potter, July 4TH, Dinosaurs, and plan to add a summer family session option. On top of that, I also plan on bringing back Bubble Sessions again (they were a blast last summer). I am adding more pet sessions, because photographing animals is where my heart is at, so I would like to incorporate more options for them as well as animals and children combined.

Everything else….well those are top secret projects still. Guess you’ll have to stay tuned!!!!
