I like to share a few of the products I’ve discovered throughout the year in case you need to do some last minute Christmas shopping as my year end wrap up! No, this post is totally not photography related, but who cares. Yes, I am the person that has 50 tabs open on a computer with 100 things added to carts that I’ll never purchase, but I still enjoy browsing. Occasionally, I’ll actually purchase a few of the things and they end up on here - I will say everything on this list I have actually used and loved.

1. Polyrocker chair

   I like this chair because of its size. It is oversized, but not quite as huge as some of the other ones I looked at. But more importantly, it had a curved seat and more of an upright back. 2. Trail Cam and stand

A few of you know about my “bad” habit of feeding the wildlife in our backyard. I love to be able to watch and see who comes. This lets me see what all comes after dark, but also helps me keep track of their health and behavior patterns. I’ve gone through a few, but this is the one I like best. 3. Simple modern spill proof tumbler

I am horribly clumsy. A spill proof travel cup is a must. You can absolutely fill this thing up and turn it upside down and it will not even drip. I don’t hesitate to carry it in a purse or camera bag. Click here for Amazon link.

4. Iron Flask Tumbler

Along the same lines as the travel cup, this travel mug for my coffee is also spill proof. I like the flip top lid. Better yet, this will keep my coffee warm for six hours, even when left in my cold truck for most of that time. I’ve tried a lot of coffee cups and this was a clear favorite. Buy it here. They have lots of fun color options (and I have a few).

5. lOGITECH hEADSET

I absolutely love this headset! Wearing glasses, some headsets put pressure on the arms and cause pain with longer wear. These do not! The sound quality is pretty good for the price, and the bluetooth connection is super strong. I can literally walk through the whole house with these on and it won’t drop the signal. My airpods are great for some things, but not all day use. Not only do they take longer to charge, the buds do hurt after awhile, too. And since I am never far from my computer, they are the only way to connect to my PC. They’re the cheapest on Amazon right now (although I got them at MicroCenter). Purchase link is here. 6. David Archy robe

I never knew I needed this until I had it. It is so soft and warm! Yes, I’m now the old lady walking around her yard in a robe. It is just too easy to pop on to head out for the mail in this cold weather. It is also great to pop on and cuddle up in my reading chair for the evening. There is a men’s version available, but for whatever reason, it is not as soft. You can find the woman’s version here.

7. Wilderdog mega hip pack

Ok, it is a glorified fanny pack, but a super nice one! This is perfect for camera gear when I head out for a shoot and need to carry some extras. Also great for going on a hike (or taking a little extra with my on my motorcycle). They do have a slightly smaller version. Yes, this is marketed toward dog owners, but I’m here to tell you I don’t have a dog, I don’t pack it with treats, and it still gets a lot of use. Buy it here.

8. Childrens cowboy hat

Out of all the hats I’ve seen over the years, this is the nicest if you have a true little want to be cowboy/girl. It is made of a harder material, making it much more durable to wear and tear, plus wipes off easily! Amazon link here. It comes in white and black (I have both!)

9. Tea Set & organizer

I drink a lot of coffee, but I also drink a lot of tea! This set is one of my favorite brands. All varieties are caffeine free, and this herbal mix offers extra immune support. They taste great! 10. Money maker vegan camera harness

I’ve been a fan of my Cotton Carrier slingbelts for awhile. I do still love them and would recommend them, but with as often as I use it, mine was wearing thin. I decided to give something new a try that might be made of leather and have a longer life. Enter the MoneyMaker camera harness. I found they have a vegan biothane version, and coming from the world of horses, I know how strong biothane is and decided to give it a go. I like how secure my camera is with this belt (I have the double version, but they do have a single camera option). It is a little hard to get the harness on and off with thicker clothes on. It is also a little less convenient to attach/detach cameras to it. I also like that I am less “wide” with the cameras to my side instead of on my hips, so I fit through doorways and tight crowds a little easier. It works just the same as a belt for relieving back and neck pain. If you have a camera enthusiast in your life, this is a gift that they will love - especially if they’ve been hauling their camera around on a traditional neck strap. Buy it here. The hardest decision with this purchase is deciding which color to pick! I picked black for my first one so it would go with anything, but I will absolutely be getting another one in a fun color (truth: I wanted the pink. It wasn’t in stock at the time. The next one will be pink.)
